Split testing product photos paid for itself in one weekend

I was stuck with a listing that got views but zero clicks for weeks. Swapped the main image from a plain white background to a lifestyle shot with someone actually using the item, just a basic A/B test through my own ads. Conversion doubled overnight, and that one change brought in about $400 extra by Sunday night. Has anyone else found that the first photo matters more than the price itself in your niche?

Lifestyle shot doubled conversion overnight" sounds like one of those clickbait headlines, not a real thing. But sure, maybe people just like seeing a hand holding the product. $400 in a weekend is decent, I guess, but let's see if it holds up next week.
