That $200 'premium' Shopify theme was a total scam for me
Bought it thinking the built-in conversion features would pay for itself, but it slowed my site to a crawl and I lost about 15% of my sales in three weeks. Anyone else have a theme that looked great but killed your load times?

That 80 dollar theme I almost bought last month seemed like a steal until I saw this.

right?? I was THIS close to pulling the trigger on that one too and now I'm REALLY glad I waited. 80 bucks feels like a lot until you see what ELSE is out there for the same price or LESS. it's wild how fast the market shifts and suddenly all these premium themes drop down to half off or even clearance. I swear every time I almost buy something at full price I see it on sale a week later and it drives me CRAZY.
