$12 rope caulk and a prayer. That's the Canadian way.

The Canadian way is right, but make sure you clean the frame real good before you press it on. That $12 fix only lasts if the surface is dry and free of old crud, otherwise it'll peel off by February. @the_uma knows the struggle, eh.
