Found a faster way to get through the Capilano construction zone

I was stuck in that Capilano bridge traffic for like 20 minutes every morning last week. Then I noticed this little alley off 101 Avenue that cuts behind the old warehouse district. It shaved 10 minutes off my commute and I don't even hit the lights anymore. Anyone else found secret routes to dodge the mess around there?

I've been using that same alley for about two weeks now. The trick is to take it slow the first few times because there's a hidden pothole near the old loading dock that'll eat your suspension if you're not careful. Also, watch for the school bus that turns in there around 8:15, they don't signal half the time. Your mileage may vary on how much time you save depending on where you're coming from, but it's definitely better than sitting in that main line.
