Had a guy at Southgate LRT help me carry groceries up the stairs last Tuesday
I was struggling with three bags from Superstore and this older gentleman just grabbed the two heaviest ones without saying a word. Walked me all the way to the bus platform and handed them back. Has anyone else had random strangers in Edmonton just step in like that without being asked?

Oh man, that's such an Edmonton thing. Next time try catching their eye and giving a quick nod or a "thanks, eh" as you take the bags back - keeps it simple and shows you appreciate it without making a big deal.
