Old school snow clearing vs new plow setup on my truck

I used to shovel my whole driveway by hand in Edmonton winters, took me around 45 minutes every storm. Last year I finally bolted a Western plow onto my F-150 and now I'm done in under 10 minutes. Is the cost of the plow and install worth the time you save, or do you still prefer the old way?

A Western plow is fine but you left out the salt damage on the truck underneath.

Actually, Western plows are really good about protecting the undercarriage with their mount setup.
