Saw a delivery driver just drop a package in a snowbank on 124th street yesterday

I ran out and grabbed it before the next plow came through but why do they even bother if they are not going to walk the 10 steps to the door?

And they probably got a bonus for "successful delivery" too. Cold package, warm sense of accomplishment.

That bonus ain't worth the dry turkey and ruined sides.
