Tried the Sherwood Park farmers market after years of doubt and now I'm hooked

Honestly I always figured farmers markets were just overpriced produce and knit scarves nobody needs. But a buddy dragged me to the one on Broadmoor Blvd last Saturday and I actually got a full bag of veggies for 22 bucks, way less than Save On. The honey stand guy let me sample three kinds and explained how the clover batch differs from the wildflower one, which I never even thought about. Even the live music was decent, not some sad guy with a broken guitar. I'm planning to go back every week now, anyone else got a favorite stall there I should try first?

The honey sampling thing got me too, that's what sealed it for me. I always thought those markets were just for hipsters with too much time, but now I'm the one dragging my family there on Saturdays.

The honey sampling got you, huh? That's exactly the trap. They hand you a free taste so you feel obligated to buy the $14 jar that's basically just sugar water. My wife fell for the same thing last month, now we've got three jars of the stuff sitting in the pantry because it crystalized after two weeks. And that veggie bag for 22 bucks, sure it's cheaper than Save On, but half of it went bad by Wednesday. I'll stick with the grocery store where I know the lettuce isn't going to be a science experiment by Tuesday.
