Overheard a realtor mention 'the good old days' of Edmonton listings

I was grabbing coffee at that place on Whyte Ave near 104th Street and heard an agent telling a client how houses used to sit for weeks with multiple showings back in 2018. Made me think about how fast things move now, stuff is gone in a weekend if it's priced right. Anyone else notice the vibe change around here since the pandemic?

Did you catch that bit about the older realtor saying houses used to sit for weeks? I read somewhere that before 2020, the average listing time in Edmonton was almost 45 days, now its down to like 15 or something crazy. The whole market just sped up after everyone started working from home and wanting more space...

That 45 to 15 day shift is wild and honestly a bit stressful for buyers like us.
