Three showings in one day changed my mind about open houses

I used to think open houses were a waste of time for sellers. But last Saturday I had three showings in a row for a bungalow in Mill Woods, and two of them left offers by Sunday. The first couple walked in and literally said "this is exactly what we've been looking for" within five minutes. Has anyone else had a day that completely flipped their opinion on a selling strategy?

My realtor actually mentioned something similar happened with one of his listings last month, says it's becoming more common lately with the market picking up.
