Tried a virtual staging service for my condo listing in Oliver... big mistake

I paid $150 to VirtuStage for a staged unit that looked nothing like the actual room dimensions, and three buyers walked in and left immediately because the couch in the photo wouldn't even fit. Anyone else have issues with virtual staging distorting space?

the couch in the photo wouldn't even fit" - oh man, that's brutal. My buddy listed his townhouse in Inglewood last year and used a similar service. The photos showed a giant sectional in the living room that looked perfect, but when people showed up they realized the room was maybe 10 feet wide. He had three showings cancel after the first one called him out on it. Ended up having to re-shoot everything with just his actual furniture and a few rented pieces. Cost him way more than the virtual staging in the end. You end up just refunding anyone who complains or what?

Did the service even ask for your room dimensions before they did the staging?
