I thought smart breakers were just a gimmick until my boss put them in a 12-unit Reno job
We wired a whole apartment building with them last year, and I figured they'd be a headache to program. But being able to check each unit's load from my phone saved us three callbacks in the first month alone. One tenant kept tripping a circuit with a space heater, and we fixed it with a remote reset. Anyone else using these on bigger jobs now?

Man, I feel called out lol. I was totally in the "overpriced gadget" camp until a job proved me wrong.

Same thing happened to me last year on a site survey. My old laser measure died and I had to borrow a coworker's iPad with lidar. Finished the whole floor plan in like twenty minutes, something that would have taken half a day. Totally changed my mind about the tech being just for show.

@GavinCampbell totally been there. what sold me was using it for measuring door and window openings on a remodel. old laser measure kept bouncing off glass and giving wonky numbers. the lidar on my ipad just traced the whole frame perfectly, even around the casing. saved me having to re-do half the measurements later.
