Visited a job site in Phoenix last week and everyone was using Wagos for everything
I get that they're faster but I saw a 20 amp lighting circuit with Wagos just dangling in a ceiling box. Give me wire nuts and a good twist any day. Has anyone else seen these things fail when it gets hot?

Worked a summer in Vegas where attic temps hit 140 and found three Wagos melted in a junction box, never had a wire nut do that.

Were those the older blue push-ins or the newer lever style? I've seen the blue ones get soft in Vegas attics but never fully melted unless the box was packed tight with no airflow.

So you had three Wagos melted and can't recall a single wire nut doing that in the same conditions? I gotta ask, were those the older blue ones or the newer gray ones with the lever? Because I've seen the blue ones get a little soft in extreme heat but never fully melted. Also, how tight was that junction box packed? Seems like airflow and how much current you're pulling through those connectors makes a big difference in whether they'll hold up or just turn into puddles.
