A customer told me my solder joints looked like bird droppings and I had to admit she was right.

I switched to a finer tip and started using flux more generously after that, and now my boards actually pass inspection on the first go instead of me chasing cold joints for an hour, has anyone else had a wake-up call from a client's honest feedback?

Huh! Funny how different trades have that same problem. Painters get told the same stuff about their finishes. Had a client once point out my roller marks looked like a bad haircut. Switched techniques after that.

Guess nobody's work is safe from critics.
