Had a repair come in last week that looked like a simple screen swap... until I saw the battery was swollen to twice its normal size.

Honestly that's a proper nightmare. Seen a few like that and you have to be so careful not to puncture it. Ngl, the smell when they finally go is something else.

My buddy had one burst in his truck cab last summer. The stench was like rotten eggs and old milk mixed together. He had to drive with all the windows down for a week.
