I was cleaning flux wrong for years until a guy in my shop pointed it out

I used to just scrub with isopropyl and call it good, but he showed me how leftover residue from a no-clean flux was actually causing a weird intermittent fault on a laptop board. Now I always use a proper flux remover spray first. What's your go-to method for a really clean board?

Oh man, that's a classic... I use a toothbrush and flux remover.

Honestly, a good scrub with high-proof IPA usually gets the job done for me.

Try adding a bit of baking soda to your scrub for extra grit.
