Overheard a younger guy at the shop say 'why even fix old TVs anymore' and it got me thinking

He was talking about a 1980s CRT that came in and I had to remind him that stuff like that is still gold for retro gamers and collectors. Has anyone else noticed less people even wanting to try fixing older stuff?

Yeah but are those younger guys even gonna know how to fix one when the time comes?

Had a friend's kid fix a tractor last summer with just his phone and a YouTube video. Changed my whole view on it, those guys can figure out pretty much anything if they care enough.
