Controller board fried on a MCE unit yesterday, any tips for troubleshooting those power surges?
I was working on a MCE elevator controller in a 12-story building downtown yesterday and the main board just went up in smoke after a power flicker. The surge suppressor looked fine but something still got through and cooked the relays. Anyone else dealt with this and found a good way to protect the boards besides just adding another surge protector?
