Got a weird email from my university after using Signal for a group project.

Our team used Signal for a political science paper on Hong Kong. Two days later, the department head emailed asking for 'informal meeting notes' from our chats. Felt like a fishing trip. Has anyone else had a school or work place ask for access to encrypted group chats?

My old boss tried that after our union used Telegram, same fishing trip.

Been there. Our group just switched to Signal with disappearing messages turned on. Boss tried to pull the same thing but had nothing to show for it.
