Unpopular opinion: My encrypted work chat lets me critique projects safely.
Without it, management would shut down all real talk.

See this everywhere honestly. People make little safe spaces to say what they really mean, like group chats away from family stuff. It's kinda sad we need separate channels for real talk.

What elizabeth_mason28 said about separate channels for real talk is something I've seen too. It is kinda sad when you need a different chat just to be honest. Like, my friends have a group where we complain about family without hurting feelings. Another example is how at work, people might text privately instead of speaking up in meetings. It shows how hard it can be to be open in some spaces. Maybe we all need more trust in our main groups.
