Chat with a client made me rethink my extraction technique

Had a client yesterday who told me her last esthetician used a comedone extractor for everything, even active breakouts. Made me realize how many of us default to pressure instead of prepping the skin better first with a good salicylic acid soak. Anyone else switch up their method after hearing something like that?

Right there with you on this one. It's wild how easy it is to just grab the tool and go instead of taking a few extra minutes to soften things up. That client probably saved you from a lot of angry skin down the road. Salicylic acid really does make a huge difference, cutting down on the redness and bruising. Clients definitely notice when they don't look beat up after a session. It's a simple switch that just makes everyone's life easier.

Salicylic acid soaks are a game changer. Way less trauma to the skin compared to squeezing everything out. Clients appreciate not leaving looking like a tomato.
