Finally compared a 30-minute basic facial to a 60-minute one with a proper consultation. The extra time made a $45 difference in client satisfaction.

The price jump is actually the wrong thing to focus on. It's not about the extra $45, it's about what that money buys in time and care. A rushed service can't deliver the same results, no matter how good the products are. That longer consultation is where you figure out what the skin really needs. Cutting that out just gives people a standard treatment that might not even help them.

Used to think the quick option was fine... but that extra time really does make a difference, doesn't it? Totally changes the whole experience.

Mixed feelings on this one. Had both types of facials and honestly, the 30 minute one was perfectly fine for what I needed - just a quick refresh before a night out. The longer consultation felt like them trying to sell me extra products half the time. Your mileage may vary of course, but $45 is $45.
