Had a client at the spa in Tempe who had a really bad reaction to a common ingredient
It was a glycolic acid peel, and her skin got super red and tight way faster than normal. Made me completely redo my consultation forms to ask way more specific questions about past sensitivities. How do you guys handle intake for clients who might have reactive skin you didn't catch at first?

What specific questions did you add to your forms? Like, are you asking about reactions to certain foods or medications now, or just sticking to skincare stuff? I'd be worried about missing something if I only ask about past facials.

Wait, you're only asking about past facials? That's wild! I added a whole page about current meds and food allergies after a client had a bad reaction to a fruit enzyme.
