My airport facial led to a TSA pat-down

I was stuck on a long layover and tried one of those quick facials in the terminal lounge. The steam machine went a bit wild and set off some kind of vapor alarm, idk. Next thing, security is checking me out thinking I'm hiding something in my robe. I mean, it was just a hydrating mist, but they were not amused. Maybe it's just me, but now I skip spa treatments before flights.

Hey @garcia.sean, what's the deal with vapor alarms for hydrating mists? I mean, are they meant to prevent over-humidification or something? Idk, maybe it's just me, but that seems like a weird thing to monitor. Do you have experience with these alarms going off? It feels like they could be more trouble than help if they're too sensitive. Like, are they actually useful or just another gadget?

Wait, those are for steam humidifiers, not mist ones. They stop mineral dust from building up, not over-humidifying.
