Tried a few brands before finding compostable masks that didn't feel like sandpaper. Maybe your supplier just has a bad batch.

Texture is key, for sure. I once used a compostable sponge that felt like scratching my dishes with a pinecone. Still, gotta appreciate the effort.

A rough texture might actually help some things scrub better though. It doesn't always mean it's a bad product.
