Rant: My home treatment corner lighting skews skin tone views

I built a basic facial station in my extra room using a shelf and chair. The combo of sunlight from the window and my ring light creates strange color casts. I keep misjudging hyperpigmentation during consultations. What small adjustments worked for your space?

Ugh, lighting is so tricky. I once tried to mix paint under a weird bulb and the color was totally messed up. Getting the light right really changes everything.

My buddy painted his whole living room what he thought was light gray. Next morning in sunlight it looked like awful mustard color. He had to redo everything with the curtains open.
