My friend in Austin argued that designing for comfort always means sacrificing a sharp silhouette, but my project last month with stretch wool blends proved you can have both.
What's your take, is the 'comfort vs. structure' debate in tailoring still valid, or have new fabrics changed the game completely?

Totally agree with your take. I made a soft-shoulder sport coat last year from a high-twist wool that moves like a dream but still looks crisp. Modern fabric tech has absolutely made that old trade-off feel outdated.
