Watching a runway show in Milan made me ditch 'wearable art' for good

I was at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last year, which is mostly furniture, but they had this one fashion show that changed my whole view. The designer, Marco Bizzarri, sent out a jacket that was basically a moving sculpture, but the model could barely walk in it. It hit me that if the person wearing it can't move, it's not design, it's just a prop. Has anyone else had a moment where a piece looked amazing but was totally useless in real life?

Can you even call that fashion?

Wear it? I tried on one of those art pieces last year and got stuck in the dressing room. Had to call for help like a toddler who climbed a fence. My personal rule now is if you need a manual to put it on, it's a sculpture, not a shirt.

Ever think clothes should actually be worn? I used to love crazy looks until a show made me agree with @casey_fox68.
