Property lines always make me think of my surveyor friend's stories. The stuff people try to get away with is wild.

Last summer, I tried to save money by marking my own property line with some old stakes. Your friend's stories, @cole_lee9, probably include amateurs like me making dumb choices. I ended up shifting the line a full two feet into my neighbor's yard without realizing it. He was cool about it, but a real surveyor later told me I was lucky it didn't turn into a big deal. In my experience, people do wild things because they don't know what they're doing, like I did. It's no wonder professionals have so many crazy tales from the field.
