Question about a stubborn old cedar post

I was replacing a section of fence in an older part of town and hit a concrete footer from a post set maybe 40 years ago. It took me and my helper the better part of a Tuesday, about 7 hours, to finally break it up and pull it out with a truck. What's the longest you've ever spent dealing with a single old post?

Used to think posts were easy until one took us two full days, right?

Oh man, totally feel that. I once spent like three hours trying to write a simple email to my landlord. It's crazy how the easy stuff can just eat your time.

Dude, three hours for a landlord email? Lol I would've just sent "Hey, the sink's broke, plz fix" and called it a day. But nah, I totally get it. Once I rewrote a 2-sentence text to my cousin like 12 times because I didn't want it to sound too needy or something. It's wild how our brains just freeze up on the dumbest stuff.
