Serious question, on reading banned Cold War poetry

I began reading poetry that was banned in the Cold War last month. It showed me views that got pushed aside back then. What other hidden works from that time should I check out?

Doesn't banned work from any time usually tell the real story? I see it now when popular views push out plain, hard truths. Finding those lost Cold War pieces might show what we still ignore today.
