My cousin's hilarious misunderstanding about mold boxes

So my cousin was visiting last week, and she saw my mold boxes in the garage. She thought they were for baking giant cookies, can you believe it? I had to explain that we use them for sand casting, not desserts. It got me thinking about how non-foundry folks see our tools. Anyway, always label your equipment to avoid mix-ups, found that out the hard way!

Yeah, this post really got me. I used to think mold boxes were for art stuff, like making plaster things. But learning about sand casting changed my view. It shows how easy it is to get things wrong without the right info. Now I make sure to ask or look up what tools do. Your cousin's mistake is something I could see myself doing.

Well, I thought mold boxes were for growing fungi until last week.
