The taco stand on Harbor changed owners last summer and I swear the salsa is watery now.
I used to hit that spot every Wednesday after work. The green salsa was thick and had real heat to it. Since July, it's been thin like diluted tomato sauce and tastes sweet. I asked the new guy and he just shrugged. Has anyone else noticed the quality drop since the original family sold it?

oh man i noticed this too. i grabbed a burrito there last week and the salsa was basically flavored water. the original owners knew what they were doing, now its just sad and sweet.

Flavored water" is harsh. I actually like the new salsa better - that thick stuff the old owners made was basically tomato paste with seeds. Sometimes lighter is better.

Has anyone at the counter actually tried getting a response beyond the shrug? I went back three times hoping that first bad batch was a fluke, but each time the salsa tasted like they mixed ketchup with water and forgot the spice. @tessa_kelly you mentioned the burrito - did the meat portion look smaller too, or was it just the salsa that went downhill? I noticed the tortillas seemed drier after the switch, like they sat out too long. The old owners would toast them fresh, but now it's all just assembly line stuff.
