Appreciation post: My cheap wireless earbuds finally died, and I get it now
I always thought people spending over $150 on earbuds were just paying for the brand, but my $30 pair just stopped holding a charge after 8 months. The sound cut out constantly on my bus commute, which I never realized was the earbuds' fault and not just a bad connection. Anyone have a solid mid-range pair they'd actually recommend?

Ugh, same thing happened to me last year! My cheap ones would cut out every time I turned my head, drove me crazy. I finally got some Anker Soundcores for like $80 and the difference is insane, they actually stay connected.

Totally get that feeling. My old cheap pair had the same random cutouts, especially outside. Ended up grabbing some Soundpeats on sale for around fifty bucks, and the connection is just rock solid now, plus the battery lasts forever.

Yeah, I read a whole article about how the cheap ones often skimp on the Bluetooth chip. That's why they drop out so much when you move around. It really is one of those things you don't notice until you try something better.
