Finally got my old Garmin watch to sync after a month of trying

Last month, my Forerunner 245 just stopped talking to my phone, and I tried everything from resetting it to checking my Bluetooth settings. I finally found a post on a tech forum from someone in Austin who said to clear the app cache on my phone, not just the watch. Did that yesterday and it connected right away. Anyone else have a simple fix that saved a gadget from the junk drawer?

Oh man, the "simple fix" thing is so real. My old Kindle Paperwhite would NOT charge, and I was ready to buy a new one. Turns out the fix was just using a different, weaker USB wall plug instead of my fast phone charger. Worked instantly.

Right, the weaker charger thing! I mean, I had the exact same panic with a Bluetooth speaker last month. It was totally dead and I was looking at new ones online. Then I found an old cable in a drawer and tried it just to be sure, and it lit right up. Idk why some devices are so picky about power, but it's always the last thing you check.

Like @adamellis, my tech fixes are always embarrassingly simple.
