My new wireless earbuds died after just 3 weeks, right in the middle of my flight to Chicago.
The left one just went silent and won't charge, so I spent the whole 4-hour trip listening to one side of a podcast.

My old Skullcandys did that. Try cleaning the charging contacts with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

Feel your pain on that one. Long flights with dead headphones are a special kind of torture. You just sit there staring at the seatback, counting the minutes. Really makes you wish you packed some old wired buds as a backup. That sinking feeling when you realize you're stuck with airplane sounds for hours is the worst.
