Picked the Pixel 8 over the iPhone 15 for my upgrade last month

I was stuck between the Google Pixel 8 and the iPhone 15, both around $800. I went with the Pixel mainly for the camera software and the call screening feature. It's been solid, but I miss how easy it was to share stuff with my friends who all have iPhones. Anyone else make a similar switch and figure out a good workaround for that?

Actually found that sharing stuff between Android and iPhone is way easier now than it used to be. For photos and videos, just use Google Photos and share a link, it works perfectly. For other files, I've had good luck with the "Share to Nearby" option on the Pixel, which can send stuff to iPhones too.

Google Photos still compresses videos when you share a link. That "works perfectly" claim is a stretch for anything over a minute. You're losing quality just to avoid a text bubble color.

Works perfectly" is a bit strong for that video compression.
