Oh geez, I don't know about that. I feel like making one big thread just buries everything and half the questions never get answered because nobody wants to scroll through fifty comments to find the fresh ones. It works for some communities but I feel like here it'd just make things more confusing and people would miss stuff.

Yeah that's a solid idea. It's the same reason grocery stores have express lanes, you know? People just want a clear, simple place to go for a quick answer. Scrolling through a ton of random posts to find help is a huge pain. A single weekly thread cuts through all that noise and actually makes it easy for people who WANT to help, to actually find the questions. It just works.
