Heads up, our chat habits are killing deep talks. It's worrying me.

I remember staying up late just talking on the phone, sharing everything. These days, it's all short texts and I miss the real chats. Friends seem distant now, and I think we need to make time for voice calls again. Like, last month, a text misunderstanding almost ruined a friendship.

You mentioned that text misunderstanding almost ruined a friendship. Can you share more about what happened? Like, what was the miscommunication, and how did you fix it? I've had similar issues where tone gets lost in texts, and it makes me wonder if we're too quick to assume the worst. It's scary how a few typed words can cause so much trouble.

Ugh, it's wild how a simple text can blow up. I told my friend "fine, whatever" about weekend plans, and she read it as me being super mad, not just tired. We didn't talk for days. Honestly nancy_davis75, what finally fixed it was an actual phone call. Hearing my tired voice and saying the words "I'm not mad at you" made all the difference. We just assume the worst in flat text, but a quick call stops that spiral.

My friend Sam texted "k" after I canceled plans. I took it as passive aggression, but he was just driving. We cleared it up fast with a voice note explaining context.
