Had a laugh when my grader blade caught a stray soccer ball

Was smoothing out a site and hit a soccer ball buried in the mud. It popped out clean and the kids nearby got their ball back, made my day.

Remember finding a plastic toy truck in a pile of topsoil once, totally made me grin. It's wild what gets buried out there, like a little time capsule from some kid's old backyard game. Those random finds are a nice bonus, turns a routine job into a bit of an adventure. Bet that soccer ball was a welcome surprise for everyone involved.

Last week we hit a buried trash bag full of old diapers. Stuff like that isn't fun, it's just extra nasty cleanup that slows the whole crew down. I'd rather not have those surprises.

Relax, hitting a bag of diapers sucks but is it really that serious? Cleanup is part of the job, even when it's nasty. @robin874 mentioned finding a toy truck, showing that not all surprises are bad. Sometimes you get diapers, sometimes you get a soccer ball, it's all random. The crew slows down for a bit, then you're back on track. Acting like it's a huge deal just makes the day harder for no reason.
