Was sure meme activism was lazy, until a deforestation GIF made me look up the facts.

I always thought sharing memes about saving trees was just for likes. But when I saw one that showed real-time forest loss, I actually checked the source. Now I get how they can spark real curiosity and action.

Yeah one with the time-lapse of ice melting got me. I ended up watching a whole documentary after seeing just a few seconds of it.

The ice melting gif from that climate doc got me last month. It's crazy how a ten second loop can make you sit through a whole hour of facts. I was just scrolling and then suddenly invested in glacier science. They really know how to bait us into learning stuff. Now I catch myself explaining ice cores to my dog.

Was it a certain gif that got you? I used to scroll right past that stuff too, but one actually made me stop and read more. Kind of changed how I see those posts now.
