Just realized the paper waste from weekly film reviews is no joke
Tbh, I was cleaning out my garage and found stacks of old movie review magazines. Each issue has like 30 pages, and they come every week from my local paper's critic. Honestly, it hit me how much trees that must use up and all the trash it makes. We should really push for digital copies to help cut down on this waste.

I used to save every single one of those weekly review inserts because I liked having them. But I had a whole drawer full and finally tossed them last year. Seeing that much paper just sitting there, already old news, really made me switch to just reading the critic's column online. It feels kinda pointless to print all that now.

Can you imagine how I felt when I cleared out my own review magazine hoard?

Understand completely! Though I'd call it a collection more than a hoard, haha. It's wild how much space those things take up, like Abby's drawer situation. Getting rid of them feels so freeing, but part of me still misses having the physical pages to flip through.
