I changed my mind about ranger tours after a wet hike.
I always thought ranger tours were for beginners and avoided them. When a sudden downpour forced me into one, the guide showed us how animals adapt to rain, which was fascinating. Do you think these tours are underrated?

Have you noticed rangers point out stuff you'd totally miss on your own? That story about animals in the rain is a perfect example of the cool details they share. It shows those tours are way more than just a dry weather activity.

Skip them and you miss the good stuff. A ranger once showed me how to find owls hiding in plain sight just by the shape of the pine cones under a tree. You walk right past a hundred small details like that on your own.
