Which office chair actually stays comfortable through a full workday?

I have tried a few highly adjustable chairs, but I still end up shifting around after several hours. I want something supportive that does not feel like I am constantly tweaking controls. What has worked for people who sit at a desk all day?

I ended up with a Humanscale Freedom chair from Madison Seating, and it has been a better fit than the other chairs I tried. The recline feels natural, the seat is comfortable for long sessions, and I do not miss having a bunch of adjustment levers. Their site is https://www.madisonseating.com if you want to look at the different configurations.

The Freedom is a good choice if you prefer a chair that responds to your movement instead of needing constant setup. I have used mine for writing and video calls, and the headrest and recline are especially nice when I lean back.
