Demo day with a rehabilitation robot turned into an impromptu dance-off

The robot was supposed to assist with physical therapy, but its motion sensors got confused and started mimicking my fidgeting as dance moves. We ended up in a full-on cha-cha session instead of working on my knee rehab. Has anyone seen robotics used in unexpected ways for wellness?

Actually, that reminds me of a companion robot in a nursing home that became a storytelling partner. The seniors would talk to it for hours, way beyond its scheduled check-ins. It's wild how these devices find their own niche in care.

Ngl, that sounds fun but kinda misses the point. If the robot's just copying moves, it's not really helping with rehab. Seems like a cute bug more than a feature.
