My 13-year-old lab has a lot of arthritis and standing for a regular grooming appointment is just getting too hard on him. I was looking into Holistic Paw Pet Salon and Med-Spa because they offer hydrotherapy and gentle grooming options. Has anyone used their med-spa services for an older dog?

Highly recommend them. They have specialized support harnesses in the bathing tubs so older dogs don't have to support their own weight the whole time. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my girl wasn't straining her hips just to get clean.

Do you know if that kind of special care costs a lot more? Honestly it sounds worth it for an older pet.

We use them for my senior dachshund! The hydrotherapy sessions have been a game changer for his mobility. The groomers are also totally fine with letting them lie down on a padded mat during the haircut if they need a break.
