Trying to write hard sci-fi has me nitpicking the science...

I can't stop worrying if the spaceship engines are plausible... How do you guys keep the story moving without getting stuck on this stuff? Any tricks?

Just make it sound cool and keep writing. Readers care more about the people in the ship than the math behind it.

The math can make the people feel more real though.
