Unpopular opinion: My hoverbike trek across Venusian clouds was a letdown.
Clouds were just acid mist. Scenery never changed.

My friend Elise booked the seven-day Venusian glide package last spring. She said the only variance in the acid mist was when it briefly thickened enough to obscure the bike's dashboard. The highlight of her trip was realizing she'd overpacked sulphuric acid repellent. She came back with identical photos from each day, just with slightly different timestamps. Now she uses the experience as a benchmark for all other disappointments. Her hoverbike still smells vaguely of corrosive vapor, which she claims adds character.

Benchmark for disappointment? That's a high bar for a vacation mishap. The smell might fade if she stops romanticizing it.

Honestly, that corrosive vapor smell is a nightmare to get out. Tbh, I'd skip the fancy cleaners and try a mix of white vinegar and baking soda paste on any non-metal parts first. Let it sit for an hour before you wipe it down, and keep the windows open for a few days. The smell sticks to everything, even your clothes.
