Noticed my buoyancy improved after a caffeine-free dive in Monterey
During my last dive in Monterey, I avoided coffee and felt way more stable. I mean, it was a game-changer for my buoyancy, idk if it's just me. Anyone else adjust their diet based on dive conditions?

Consider electrolyte balance for improved stability underwater.

@theaf26, that's a good point about electrolyte balance. Are you referring to its role in preventing buoyancy shifts or avoiding muscle fatigue during longer dives? I know sodium and potassium levels can directly impact hydration and nerve function underwater, which seems crucial for stability. What specific metrics or signs should divers monitor to avoid imbalances, lol?
