At a casual meetup, someone asked if I still use keyword stuffing for SEO.
The whole room went quiet before I laughed and explained how much that strategy has backfired since the early days.

Agree with @sarahm19... just being obvious works better than forcing keywords.

Heard that story before, but honestly, I've seen it work lately in a weird way. Not the old spammy lists, but using a key long-tail phrase a few times in a natural way. Google's gotten better, but it still needs clear signals. I watched a local service page climb just by working the main question people ask right into a few FAQ answers. It's not stuffing, it's just being obvious.

Notice how this mirrors what works in simple instructions or recipes. People skip steps if you're not clear, so you have to state the obvious sometimes. I see it when my kids try to build something from a box, and the manual repeats key steps. It's not just repeating, it's making sure the message gets through. Does that make sense for how we talk online too?
